October 2nd, 2017 eclipse admin

Thank you to everyone who came along to the open morning yesterday.

It was the best attended one that we have had so far and we hope that everyone enjoyed themselves and found it interesting.

The parade of horses seemed popular and I hope that we were able to give you a good insight into our hopes and aspirations for the coming season. We believe that we have got a good mix of young and more experienced horses but only time will tell.

Many thanks to Carol for the fantastic refreshments which I know were very much appreciated by all.

As I mentioned yesterday, there are still one or two ownership options in the yard (outright / part ownership and syndicates) so please give me a shout if you are interested.

For Sale…..Unnamed X Getaway – Kegster (Bach) 4 year old

November 21st, 2016 eclipse admin

A great opportunity to get involved in an exciting prospect for this coming season, as a whole or in shares.

This 4yo son of getaway is pleasing us at home and schooling extremely well, he is currently doing plenty and will be ready to run come Christmas.

He’s a lovely model 16.1 and very athletic which is proving well in his jumping and work, very correct and bred for the job.

He’s out of a unraced mare who is a half sister to grade 2 winner St Pirran and is also closely related to tough stayer Shotgun Willy.

If you would like to have a conversation about full or part ownership please ring Sam on 07738 413579

A busy summer comes to an end

October 8th, 2016 eclipse admin

It’s been a busy summer here at Church Farm with lots going on including us having 28 breakers in residence at various times.

These were for a variety of clients including Dan Skelton, Tom Weston, Ryan Mahon, Ian Popham and Mr and Mrs Pudd.It is very satisfying to see these young horses develop and we now look forward to following their progress on the track.

Once we had finished the work with the breakers, we moved on to giving the yard a freshen up and have also added in a lot of fencing on the gallops.  The power washer and paint brushes always get plenty of work at this time of the year !

The autumn is always an exciting time and this year is no different as we have some really nice unraced horses in the yard that come from good breeding and have plenty of potential. Most of these already have owners but if anyone would like an interest for the coming season, we do have one or two interesting opportunities for ownership.  Please give us a call if you would like more information.
