Sam Allwood Racing are delighted to announce the purchase of two exciting point-to-pointers for our new syndicate; Church Farm Racing Club.
We purchased the two horses at the May Doncaster Sale after very promising runs in point-to point. We believe that they will prove to represent very good value in the long term and will provide syndicate members a lot of success and enjoyment.
Rehill Relic wasy very impressive on his debut, beating horses that had already run and bolting up in a very impressive time. He is a really exciting horse for us, a step up in quality on the type that we normally buy and we believe that he will prove to be a great purchase.
We were also delighted to purchase Orbys River, this mare who looked destined for second place when falling in the later stages.
Sam explained why he is so positive about this new syndicate: “We had done our homework before we went to Doncaster and both of these horses featured prominently in our priority list. Rehill Relic came strongly recommended to us by Tom Weston who I have known for a long time. He was impressive on debut and the form of that race has worked out well. Orbys River was unfortunate to fall when looking nailed on for second place in May and we believe that he will prove to be a very good buy.”
The club will consist of six 16.66% shares and we have already had commitment from four people. The initial cost is £10,666 per share (which give you 16.66% in each horse) and then the costs will be £500 all in a month in training and £100 a month all in when the horses are in the field. (These costs are subject to VAT).
Shares within the syndicate have already been purchased by existing and new owners at Chruch Farm. It promises to be a syndicate that makes the most of the good days!
